Our Story

We are a family workshop located in a small town Ivano-Frankove, near Lviv in Western part of Ukraine. When you see “Since 2014” at our site it doesn’t mean the idea of Kozakworkshop was born in one minute. Our story began much earlier when Maksym, being a financial analyst, bought his first wood machine and started learning this craft from the basics. He researched a lot of processing methods and performance techniques of carving, and was most interested in the ability to use modern technology in this craft. Its advantage compared to manual work is the maximum production speed and product details.

It has been his hobby for a few years until Maksym married Natalia. “We heard compliments about my wooden pieces from our friends and relatives however I did not dare to sell my products” - admits Maksym.

Inspiration and Development

“In 2014 when our first son was born and I was on maternity leave I was inspired by the idea that we can display Maksym’s products for the customers from other countries. I took photos and listed our first religious item on eBay. And what a surprise that it was sold out during the first 24 hours!” - Natalia mentions. At that time, Maksym juggled his craft with a full-time job, often working late nights in their garage. Slowly but surely, KozakWorkshop grew. We expanded to platforms like Etsy, eBay, and Amazon. It wasn’t always easy, but we were energized by the dream of sharing our passion with customers worldwide.

Today, KozakWorkshop has earned the trust and loyalty of over 10,000 satisfied customers. Thank you for being part of our journey.
